Transporting Ratites (Car or Trailer) Adults will need a livestock trailer or horsebox with a fully covered back door. Young will fit in the boot of an estate car with a dog guard. They tend to sit down as soon as they get moving, so be sure to have plenty of hay and straw down, a couple of bales worth in a livestock trailer, to make a thick non-slip bed, keeping in mind that emu legs splay easy, so any slippery floors will need to be covered completely. A lot of deep straw will give them a secure bed which they wont roll around on. It is wise to keep them in the dark whilst travelling, keeping them calm, so put a blanket or cover over their crate, allowing for air flow. SHIPPING EXOTICS We don't ship our ratites when 2weeks old. But we do ship 3weeks+ chicks (Delta Cargo Pet Courier Service only)
We may ship live birds outside united states. This will depends on each country import regulations. So it's the responsibility of the buyer to check with own country regulations regarding importation of exotic species.

Shipping MammalsAll mammals will be shipped using American Airlines or Delta to your closest airport. We will communicate flight options with all customers to find the best option. Temperatures and state laws will affect the options. Live animals are shipped within the United States only
Courier Prices of both eggs and live birds depends on the amount, types of birds , size and the country of final destination. Some birds required a CITES.
